PSU’s purpose is to provide the Professional, Logistical and Administrative support required for the efficient designing, delivery and monitoring of all CIDA funded projects and activities in Ghana.  The PSU supports CIDA and its partners in delivering their projects and programs by undertaking specific activities such as program planning and delivery, administrative and logistical support. The PSU has two offices; one in Accra and the other in Tamale. 

 

 
    Services Provided
 
    We provide professional services to three categories of clients. They are as follows:
   

  1. CIDA Bilateral Programs and Projects and all appropriate bilateral project personnel, including staff of Bilateral Program and Post Aid staff; Recipient Country Departments involved in CIDA Bilateral projects; Other Project personnel working on Bilaterals such as consultants, CEAs, LEAs, INGOs.

  2. CIDA officials from other branches(i.e. Partnership, Multilateral, Policy, Performance Review); and

  3. Officials from various departments of the Canadian Government, i.e. Immigration or Trade Section, Canadian organsiations not working on CIDA programs/projects, CIDA HQ personnel on Mission and Post personnel for personal matters
    The PSU offers:

    Program/project activities/Professional services include:
   
  • Sector and Technical Studies;
  • Planning assessment;
  • Evaluations, Monitoring
  • Policy Studies and
  • Information/data support
    Administrative and Logistical Supports include:
   
  • Airport pick up and drop off;
  • Travel and accommodation arrangements
  • Office Support Services: secretarial, office space, computer equipment, including Laptops, Projectors etc. internet access, fax and telephone
  • Professional Services (consultant search and contract preparation)
  • Vehicle rental
  • Financial Management support to projects
  • Organising Field visits  meetings and workshops
  • Immigration services such as visa, residence and work permits etc.


          This website is maintained by the CIDA-PSU (Ghana) Office, to provide information to Local partners, the
                                                 Canadian High Commission, CIDA Headquarters and Donor Agencies.
